In this second installment of my behind-the-scenes series of Extraordinary Hand Lettering, I wanted to show how few tools Doris needed to create this lettered mirror. There were only 8 items she used in the project and that included her original sketch. With just a handful of the right tools, she's able to turn a simple mirror into a personalized piece of decor that can be gifted.
Angela and Tim are expecting the arrival of a new member to their family and wanted to remember this part of their journey to parenthood with a few photos at home.
They've prepared the nursery and when their baby arrives, they'll have one more person to add to their family photos.
To be able to photograph a couple's journey from getting engaged to being married and welcoming a new member of the family is a huge honour. It was only five short (or long, depending on how you look at it) weeks ago that Sam and Vanessa were waiting for the arrival of their baby boy.
This little guy was incredibly blessed before he even arrived and will continue to be loved by his parents and their community.
Small business owners want professional-level photos that are more than just portraits. They want photos that show them in action to represent what they do.
I've photographed a naturopathic doctor and wellness coach who wanted to showcase a more personal side in addition to her work.
Last week, I had the opportunity to work with Kait, a real estate and also writes a lifestyle blog.
Sam and Vanessa are dear friends of mine who I've known for almost a decade and whose wedding I had the honour of photographing. They've been encouraging and supportive throughout the years and I'm thankful to call them my friends.
We've been there through each others' joyous times and challenges and I'm blessed to have the opportunity to photograph the start of their next exciting adventure: parenthood :)
