Working with a team of creative individuals who excel at what they do is what makes projects like these come to life. I photographed a Desert and Desserts-themed event which was just published by Australian magazine, Hooray! Magazine.
Here’s the team who made it happen:

Working with Esther of This Wild Heart has been such a joy because I’ve gotten to know her as a friend along the way. I recently photographed her partnership with JJ Cole as she and her family explored different neighbourhoods in Toronto, from the west to the east end. She’s put together a guide on Where to Visit in Toronto with Little Ones with indoor and outdoor places to play and explore, as well a list of family-friendly restaurants.
Here are a few highlights:
They started at Brodflour, a bakery in Liberty Village who bakes fresh sourdough in-house.
Next, a visit to Riverdale Farm, a farm in the city, to see the animals
Last stop, the famous rainbow mural tunnel in the Don Valley.
Wild North Flowers has been voted as Toronto’s best florist. They’re known for their large format installations and wedding floral arrangements. I had the opportunity to photograph their beautiful wedding tablescapes for the District28 Open House. Take a look at the different styles they were able to create.
