Christmas Portrait Studio
This year for Christmas, I want to use photography to give back to my community so I decided to build a modern Christmas portrait studio from scratch for groups of friends and families to come and get their photo taken.
Together, we raised close to $3000! The proceeds are going to support our church's building project which will then be used to create a safe, usable space for the community and our neighbours in Victoria Village.
After a month of planning, building, prop sourcing and testing, it’s finally happening. I’m excited to see old friends and meet new ones 😊
A huge thank you to everyone who came by to get a portrait taken and to friends who helped make this happen!
Home is More Than Just a House
A house can be more than the address you return to everyday. You can choose to make it your home, a place with significance.
It's special to photograph something when there's meaning and a connection. This beautiful home is where major milestones were celebrated and fond memories were made and these photos only capture a small piece of its history.
The open concept of the kitchen, dining and living area on the main floor are perfect for gathering and entertaining. I'm a fan of functional space like this where furniture can be moved around for different purposes.
The kitchen is spacious and comes with a big island and lots of storage.
Lifestyle: Cozy Family Photos at Home
Home can be a great option to have your family photos taken because it’s a comfortable and familiar environment.
Lifestyle: Saturday Morning At Home
Well, it's December and it may be chilly for outdoor photo sessions so a great option is to have photos taken in the comfort of your home. It's a relaxing, comfortable environment and of course, much warmer and cozier.
Not a bad way to wake up on a Saturday morning.

I love moments like these.
Toasting and celebrating. Just because.
