Two years ago, I built a Christmas photoshoot set for a fundraiser and it was a huge success. My idea was to create a minimalist living room scene. All the decorations were simple and easy to put together.

Empty boxes (like Amazon boxes) were wrapped in craft paper and finished off with some string, a tag and some real greenery (pine needles, rosemary sprigs, evergreen leaves, etc.)

For a bit of ambiance, some fairy lights were added but other Christmas lights could work as well.

Books were wrapped in craft paper and stacked together.

Real greenery can be used as small details.
