Minimalist oasis basement powder room with soft ambient lighting and a bed of rocks under the countertop.

Oasis basement powder room (Kē Design Collective)

May 09, 2024 in Interiors

Kē Design Collective designed this basement powder room like a mini spa oasis at home. The textures of wood and stone work together to bring nature inside. The team used a combination of straight lines and curves to guide the eye to the different elements like the light vanity mirror, vessel sink, and light fixture.

Soft, warm, under cabinet lighting further adds to the relaxed ambiance. Finished with a bed of rocks, this powder room gives you a sense of calm and tranquility without leaving the comfort of your home.

Two thin pendant lights hang from the ceiling over the corner of a minimalist basement powder room. Two vases sit on the wooden countertop, highlighted by the hanging lights.

Underrated: Combining built-in shelves with a height adjustable desk to create a custom ergonomic workspace.

I’m a big proponent of finding both a desk AND chair that can adjust to your height. Not all height adjustable desks or chairs are the
Happy first day of spring! But around here, we know spring hasn’t actually sprung yet so we’ll be wearing our winter jackets until end of April. At least 😂

I love a monochromatic bathroom. This ensuite is sleek, complete with a towel warmer, a double shower, and natural light.

Went on a 🟡💛⭐️🟨 colour hunt in Japan and Taiwan ☺️ Which one’s your favourite? I love the ones with the ginkgo tree and flatbed truck.

When this long kitchen was divided by a peninsula, @belyndacheninteriors changed the layout and flow by turning it into an island. This created more countertop space for food prep, more storage, and still included seating.

This 2016 trend came at the perfect time 🤭 That summer, we went to Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, and Hong Kong, which is THE hottest time to visit. The moment you step outside, you instantly start to sweat. Even I, someone who’s usually cold, was
Tokyo by night, Christmas edition. The illuminations here are something else. The lights brighten the trees up and down the street, making the area feel festive and magical.
